How to order your medication

PLEASE ALLOW AT LEAST 3 WORKING DAYS WHEN REQUESTING YOUR MEDICATION BEFORE COLLECTING FROM THE CHEMIST.

THANK YOU FOR YOUR CO-OPERATION

Repeat Prescriptions

If you require regular medication on prescription, your GP will usually set up a repeat prescription on your medical record. Prescriptions can then be ordered at set intervals without seeing a doctor in person.

If you are a new patient to the practice you will usually need to speak with the doctor  before your prescriptions are issued.  We ask all patients receiving repeat prescriptions to have an annual review in the month of their birth. Your medication review can be done over the telephone.

Requests for medication MUST be made in writing,  preferably by completing the online 'Order Repeat Medication ' form below.  Alternatively you can use the tear-off reorder form on the right hand side of your last repeat prescription and post it into our prescription box at our front door.

In the interests of safety and accuracy we regret that we cannot accept telephone requests for repeat prescriptions, accept from our elderly and housebound patients.

When requesting your medication we would ask that you provide us with the name of your usual pharmacy so that your prescription can be sent directly to the chemist

Our practice staff and pharmacy colleagues continue to face unprecedented demand  and are working exceptionally hard to provide patients with their medication. Please be patient and polite to our staff who are doing their best to provide your medication.

Please only order what you need.  If your request for medication is made too early it may be declined. Thank you.

Due to unprecedented demand we are unable to provide requests for routine medication urgently.

Please order your medication in sufficient time and allow at least 72 hours - 3 full working days -  before  going to the pharmacy to collect your medication.

We are only able to send prescriptions to those pharmacies that either provide a stamped address envelope (SAE) or collect from the practice.

If you wish your prescription to be sent to another chemist or your home address please provide a SAE.
